From Red Lake, ground
transportation to Camp is initially comprised of a 40 mile drive on an all-weather road to Birch Point Landing where adequate parking is provided. Your phone call to Camp prior to departing Red Lake will
be our means of co-ordinating river transportation with your arrival at the Landing.
One of the highlights of your visit is bound to be the 7 mile boat trip up
the Nungesser River that whisks you from the Landing and shortly thereafter deposits you safely at the Camp dock. A short, board-walked portage around scenic rapids temporarily interrupts the trip, but
provides guests with an opportunity to catch the cascading water on film.
Ducks and blue herons are usually
plentiful along the route and sightings of moose and beaver are not uncommon.
For those guests wishing to take to the air, we will arrange transportation
via floatplane from downtown Red Lake directly to Camp.
